"A Labor of Love"
Saturday, APRIL 21
Baton Rouge Corvette Club holds an annual all car, truck, motorcycle show in Plaquemine, LA benefitting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Over $280,000.00 given. This year we have a new indoor facility and a live band.
All proceeds benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. The Plaquemine Main Street Program co-hosts the event. After nine shows, we have sent a total of over $175,000 to St. Jude Hospital. All kinds of cars, trucks, and motorcycles are welcome.

The Baton Rouge Corvette Club has informed me that the show will go on !!
rain or shine !!
There is now a large pavillion to use in case the weather becomes a problem.
Come cruise with us to the 14th Annual St. Jude "Labor of Love" Open Car Show sponsored by Baton Rouge Corvette Club & Plaquemine Main Street Program in Plaquemine, La. on Saturday, April 21st. It is time for us to show our support in return.
We will have a caravan leaving Cafe DuMonde 4700 Veterans Blvd for 7:00 am sharp and meet the West Bank group at HWY 3127 and I - 310 for 7:15 am Also we have made plans for dinner at the Cabin Restaurant in Burnside on our way home. I need to know who will be stopping for dinner so I can give the the restaurant a head count.
Please let me know if you will be joining us for the show as well as dinner.

- SEVETGO : Wow!!!!! Loved the Kart Event, thanks to so many members who came out to participate in this fun event. Some of the drivers had up to 5 driving sessions, that was great!!!!!!!

- Malco : I have some very sad news to pass on, Jack Tanner who has been a member of GNOCC for the last two years died in a single car accident. He was in his Vette which he loved so much. Please keep Sharon Tanner and their family in your thoughts and prayers at this sorrowful time. I will send out information on the arrangements as soon as it becomes available. - Malco : Hey gang lets all join in and support Crescent City Corvette Club's annual "Legends" open car show Saturday March 10th . Southshore caravan will be leaving Cafe DuMonde 4700 Veterans Blvd in Metairie for 7:30 am sharp. We will meet up with our West Bank and Northshore members at Texas Roadhouse 1631 Westbank Expy in Harvey for 7:45. Arriving at Boomtown Casino for 8:00 am. Dusty will lead a Northshore caravan from Slidell, departing the Exxon Station at the Oak Harbor exit on I-10 at 7:00AM.
