The EXTRAVetteGANZA was a total success. Our visitors from Texas, Florida, Alabama, and
Mississippi were all wonderful. The people from all over Louisiana were great. The show has been
described as a social event. Thanks to Ross Downing Chevrolet for sponsoring our show. Thanks to the
Treasure Chest Casino for the welcoming party, the Pontchartrain Center for an excellent facility and
workers, Greg Dumas who was an awesome disc jockey, LaQuinta Inn for great room rates for our
visitors, and the visitors from Florida who judged our cars. Many, many thanks to the companies and
individuals that donated trophies, door prizes and auction items. Club members we did a fantastic job. We are now looking forward to next year. The whole Pontchartrain Center has been reserved with space
available for approx. 150 cars. Possible dates are Sat. 10/19/2002, Sun. 11/17/2002 or August is wide
