All went
well.
We had 6
Vettes participate.
The
families were very appreciative of our thoughtfulness, concern and
contribution.
The
neighborhood was full of children and Felix and Chris Vial gave them rides on the cars around the
neighborhood.
Both
families appreciated the turnout of Vettes and looked at them all and
commented on what fine machines they were.
We stayed
there about an hour, talking and visiting with them, and of course,
entertaining the children with rides.
I didn't
bring my camera because I figured it would be inappropriate to take
pictures, but Steve Miller, the man shot in the ankle, requested that
his wife get the camera and take some pictures. Bill Bloecher had his
camera in the car, so he got some pics as well, but they are not
digital pics, so we will have to wait until they get the film developed.
It turned
out to be a very nice visit.
When we
left, of course we headed for a restaurant to eat.
We even got
to meet the lady whose husband was killed on the motorcycle in the same
neighborhood last week.
She walked
over to talk to everyone and express her thanks to us for being so
supportive of the Foto & Miller families.
We will
probably get to see all these people again at Chris' car show on
November 8th.
Hope you
can make that show.
My sincere thanks to everyone that
took the time yesterday to be a part of this activity.
see ya soon,
