Well, this turned out to be a terrific show... 146 Registered cars,
including over 60 Corvettes & over 80 other cars, trucks & a couple of
motorcycles.  Nice turnout from our neighboring Corvette Clubs GNOCC,
BRCC, CCC & BSCC.  Four NCRS cars & four Corvette Pace Cars (one from
each year of the special addition Pace Cars) were on display... The
strong Breezy winds off the Lake made the high temperatures feel
comfortable (as long as you were in the shade).

Thanks to all the members of the CCCC for helping out... There must have
been over 50 members, spouses, sons & daughters helping out to make the
show successful. From the preplanning, parking, registration,
classification, computer input & administration, judging teams, runners,
scoring tabulation, 50/50 ticket sales & presentations, 50/50 gifts
donated by members, T-shirt sales, award presentation & our DJ &
announcer Tom Walters kept things moving... Also, thanks to the members
from our fellow Clubs who helped judge the CCCC cars.  Can't forget our
three Vendors Goodyear, MCD Intl. & Tire Kingdom for coming out &
displaying some of their wares and donating a few vendor awards to some
lucky winners... Quite a Team effort...

A special thanks to Treasure Chest Casino for sponsoring the Show, pre
show party & some of the hardware to make some of the unique trophies.
Many registrants took advantage of the 2 for 1 Buffet coupons & the
extra $5 of tokens for the casino games...

Awards - there were plenty. 100 "Top 100" Plaques, nine "Treasure
Jewels" (selected by Miss Treasure Chest 2001 herself (and current Ms
Louisiana), 50 "Sponsor" Trophies, 27 "Best of Paint/Exterior, Engine &
Interior" (Three Trophies within each of the Nine classes), Five
"Outstanding" Trophies,  Nine "Best of Class" Trophies, Three "Best of
(Paint/Exterior, Engine & Interior)", Five Outstanding Trophies, Six
Special Award Trophies & One Best Of Show Trophy... GNOCC won the Club
Participation Award.  And, thanks to all Businesses & Individuals who
donated & supported the 50  Sponsor Trophies ... Over 200 Trophies &
Plaques designed by Marvin Faber...

The 50/50 pot was $1290. Pete Barbazon won the $645 Cash give away
portion, and Pete donated $145 back to the club & kept $500.  Thanks
Pete for a very generous contribution back into the club.

Thanks to all the participants who made the show and our Show commitee
for a job well done.  Here's a few pics and Felix seems to be very happy
